This 2.5D history animation was created by layering the soldiers and terrain of Mount Suribachi, Iwo Jima in Adobe Photoshop. I created the 3D flag and used the puppet tool to animated the soldiers all inside of Adobe After Effects. Lastly, I animated the camera in z space for additional perspective.
