This project involved the advanced technique of camera projection. To start I removed all the objects and people from the painting in Adobe Photoshop. The next step was building a 3D replica of the scene with 3D shapes and planes inside Adobe After Effects. Once that was built, I placed all the objects and people back in the painting a their varying depths along the z axis. Lastly, I animated the camera inside Adobe Effects to really show off the 3D depth and perspective.
This was one of my 2.5D projects ever from over a decade ago. It still has the same impact it had 10 years ago and that is a testament to visual quality 2.5D animation brings to the table. This animation is available for licensing. Inquire now!
