2.5D World War 2 D-Day
2.5D World War 2 D-Day is part of my 2.5D World War Collection and depicts the Allied Invasion on June 6, 1944. This 2.5D history animation was created from Robert F. Sargent’s terrifying and aptly named photo, Taxi to Hell and Back – Into the Jaws of Death.
Experience this image of the Allied invasion of France and other epic World War 2 battlefield images like never before with my 2.5D World War 2 Collection. Immerse yourself in this terrifying and exponentially more engaging alternative to the static 2D images. 2.5D World War 2 D-Day and other epic 2.5D history animations from other time periods can be viewed back on my 2.5D Parallax page. Additionally, my latest 2.5D History work can be viewed on my 2.5D History Playlist on You Tube before they are published here.
This historic 2.5D history animation used a camera projection technique to create planes of the sky and water/beach and placed the cutout soldiers at their proper depth in z space. Using the advanced compositing technique of camera tracking, I placed the 3D text text into the scene on the actual beach using Element 3D in Adobe After Effects. I used the Saber plugin to create German machine gun fire coming from the hillside bunkers. This animation is available for licensing and customization. Inquire Now!
